Lubbock Sketch Night: Lubbock Sketch Club, drawing, sketching, cartooning, comics, anime, manga, sketchclub, sketchnight

The Lubbock Sketch Night (also known as the Lubbock Sketch Club) is a weekly gathering of people who like to draw, regardless of skill level. The focus of the attendees tends to be on comics and comics-style drawings, but this is by no means obligatory: Over the years, we have had everything from kids with colouring books to professional artists.

The Sketch Night is open for all, and suitable for all ages. There are no membership fees (or members, for that matter—only regulars). Just bring along paper and pencil, and join in.

We meet Saturdays 7pm–10pm in the Dining Patio of the Market Street supermarket on 19th and Quaker (street address: 4425 19th street)

Please check our FaceBook group for possible changes.

As a spin-off of the Sketch Night, a life drawing group was formed a few years ago. The Lubbock Figure Drawing Group meets occasionally, so check the Facebook page for times.
